RAM 2500

The RAM 2500 comes in six trims for you to choose from, ranging in price and features. Starting from the lowest and moving up, you'll find the Tradesman, Big Horn, Laramie, Power Wagon, Limited Longhorn, and the Limited. The exterior comes with several standard or available features, like bedlights, the RamBox cargo management system, and outlets in the bed to keep your equipment charging in the back. With a kick-out bed step and power running boards, you'll be able to get in and out of the cabin and bed with ease.

There are two engines you can choose from when shopping for the RAM 2500. The standard is the 6.4-liter Hemi engine with eight cylinders. This puts out 410 horsepower and 429 pound-feet of torque for power and capability when towing and offroading. When selecting this engine, you'll pair it with the eight-speed automatic transmission for the best performance. For extra torque, you can pursue the available 6.7-liter turbo diesel engine. Though slightly less horsepower at 370, the 850 pound-feet of torque can up your towing capability and maintain handling. This comes with a six-speed automatic transmission.

Performance is really where the RAM 2500 impresses. With the standard engine, you'll be able to tow up to 17,540 and see a maximum payload of 4010. With the turbo-diesel engine, you'll get a payload of 3,160 but tow up to 20,000 pounds. You'll also find gas-charged shocks, available rear air suspension, and locking differentials in the front and rear to maximize your handling when offroading or driving in different conditions.

There are three cabin options in the Dodge RAM 2500, the regular cab, crew cab and mega cab each with unique seat configurations that can get you more room for cargo or fit in more passengers. You'll also find some cool technology features, like the digital rearview mirror that has tow mode to provide you with sight behind your trailer. New to this model is the Uconnect touchscreen that allows you to create unique profiles, access your music and applications, or get navigation. Some trims, like the Limited and the Limited Longhorn come with a leather interior for style.

Features in the RAM 2500 come to keep you safe on and off the road or when parking. You'll find exterior safety features like 15-degree rotating headlamps, a surround-view camera to help you see everywhere, and an LED trailer hitch light. There's also modern technology to keep you safe, like forward collision detection and warnings, lane departure warnings, and front and rear parking assistance. You can also take advantage of the adaptive cruise control, where you set the distance you want to keep from cars in front of you and let the vehicle adjust its speed based on traffic conditions.
