Choose from the Chevrolet Equinox's four trim levels — LS, LT, RS, and Premier — to find the ideal level of luxury and affordability for your needs. Each Equinox comes standard with LED headlamps. Moving up to the LT gives you the LED daytime running lamps. The RS finished off the collection with its LED taillamps and also adds a rear power liftgate to make loading your SUV easier. Every Equinox draws its strength from a 1.5-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine that delivers 170 horsepower and 203 pound-feet of torque. This engine is connected to a six-speed automatic transmission. The Equinox gets up to 26 mpg in the city and 31 mpg on the highway.

If you have a young driver operating your Equinox, you can use the Teen Driver technology to get updates on how they're performing. The Equinox offers an available adaptive cruise control system that slows down your vehicle to maintain a set distance between you and the vehicle ahead. The Equinox comes standard with wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, which you can access through the standard 7-inch central infotainment touch screen. An 8-inch version is available at the Premier trim level. The Premier also gets you a 120-volt power outlet, an ambient interior lighting system, and a wireless charging pad.

Drivers who choose the Chevrolet Equinox as their next go-to ride are also choosing to stay safer on the road, thanks to the Chevy Safety Assist suite standard on every model. Chevy Safety Assist includes technologies such as a front pedestrian braking system, a forward collision alert, automatic emergency braking, lane-keep assist with lane-departure warning, a following distance indicator, and Intellibeam automatic high-beam assist.
